Fenhexamid, a fungicide known under Bayer’s brand name Teldor*, has been delivering Botrytis control on a variety of fruits and vegetables including grapes and soft fruits for almost two decades now. Fenhexamid is a crucial alternation partner in disease resistance management programs and is best used in a preventative program. It inhibits the germ tube growth and prevents the penetration of the fungus into the plant tissue resulting in an effective and long-lasting protection.

Bayer biocontrol agents included in the Transparency Initiative

Coniothyrium minitans CON/M/91-08 is the first biological product to which full access to safety studies is granted. Contans WG, based on the natural occurring soil fungus C. minitans, is a biological fungicide with a specific antagonistic action against the remaining surviving structures (sclerotia) of the plant pathogens Sclerotinia spp. Best and sustainable results are achieved, if Contans WG is strategically integrated in the crop rotation. In lettuce, for example, it is one of the best available tools controlling S. sclerotiorum.
